What We Do

Campus Bible studies are a place to engage in faith centered communities on campus. We learn and discuss the Bible’s message intended for every person then use what we learn from it to grow in Christ- centered relationships with one another.

Our weekly Thursday night meeting is an opportunity to come together as a campus community in Worship, Fellowship, and Biblical Teaching.  It is a great place to see friends you haven’t seen all week, meet new people from other parts of campus, grow in our Faith in Jesus, and worship the Lord within the Body of Christ.

Cru’s passion is to develop christ-centered laborers who are active in the great commission. We host various retreats and conferences to equip students in evangelism and help build community with one another. Join us for Fall Retreat, Indy Winter Conference or our Leadership Conference, and experience an environment built to build you in your faith.

One of the things we do best as a Ministry is mission trips. God’s plan to see his love communicated to all the peoples of the world is on our heart. We send teams of students, faculty, and staff across the U.S. and around the world. We regularly send teams to Detroit, Chicago, South America, and the Middle East. We find that students often grow the most in their walk with Jesus when joining in his mission to make disciples of all nations.

2 Timothy 2:2 is the passage that gives words and vision for our movement in regards to discipleship. This idea of entrusting the teaching and ministry we have seen and heard to reliable people so that they can teach others, is paramount in building God’s kingdom here in Mid Michigan.

In Cru we want to raise up leaders who will go on to make an impact for God’s Kingdom. We see college as the launching pad to the next 20 years of a student’s life. Therefore we make sure to give students opportunities to lead. This could look like leading bible studies, or the movement as a whole. Cru aims to be student led and staff shepherded. We know this doesn’t just happen so we host leadership conferences and trainings to help students in their development.
